Winogradsky/Sobel artist Armada recently had their song “Beautiful Heat” placed in the season opener for CBS’s “Blue Bloods.” The episode is titled “Mercy” and is the first episode of the show’s second season.
Blue Bloods is an American police procedural television series which centers on the Reagans, an Irish-American family of police officers in New York City. Frank Reagan is the police commissioner with three grown children working in law enforcement. The oldest Danny, a hard-nosed detective, Erin, an assistant district attorney who prosecutes many of the offenders Danny apprehends and Jamie, a recent Harvard Law School graduate and a rookie cop in the NYPD. A fourth child, Joseph, was killed in the line of duty while investigating a group of dirty cops nicknamed “The Blue Templar”. Starring Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan and Will Estes, “Blue Bloods” airs Friday’s at 10pm on CBS.
