Winogradsky/Sobel is proud to announce the recent signing of the Noir Rock band Edgar Allan Poets to our One-Stop Catalog.
Edgar Allan Poets is a two piece Alternative Rock band out of Italy. These guys are not the typical sounding Alternative band though, they have added in some different elements to help them stand out from the rest of the bands playing this style. Influences in Gothic, Classic Rock & Grunge with a bit of a dark vibe to it that reminiscent of some of the early 80′s Dark Wave bands mixed with Modern Rock.
Chrisis (vox, guitar) born in South Africa and Lop Noor (Drums) born in Bergen, Norway met in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy where they began to write and study music. Edgar Allan Poets formed in September 2006 with their lyrics being inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s novels. Their sound is smooth but strong, and it is sad and tender. Together they experience a very good musical feeling and now reside in Burbank, CA.
